the ryugyong hotel has been in (and still in) construction since 1987. originally set to have been completed in 1989. for whatever reason, i prefer it this way (photo 2004).
i just received this gem of an email attachment. my friend, kristen, who i’ve known since i was 11 years old, quick sketched my friend roland (at 24) and i (between the ages of 14-24) in 2004. she just wanted to make me smile. a super sweet lady, she is.
